We’re hiring!
Trace Solutions prides itself on having “absurdly happy customers” and the Consultant Trainer sits right at the heart of making that happen. You will be the person clients turn to when they want to get the most out of their investment in our software, delivering tailored training and consultancy that is practical, credible, and genuinely useful.
This is a varied, client-facing role where no two days look the same. You might be running a training session at our Clerkenwell office one day, consulting at a client site the next, and contributing to a product improvement conversation the week after. It suits someone who combines strong property or accounting knowledge with a natural ability to communicate clearly and build trust with clients at all levels.
What You’ll Do
Key Objectives
- Deliver outstanding training and consultancy across all TRAMPS, BlueBox, o6ix and Mojo products, grounded in a clear understanding of each client’s requirements.
- Identify and develop opportunities to extend the value clients get from our software through additional training and consultancy engagements.
- Keep pace with product developments so training always reflects the latest versions and features.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold the standards and procedures of the team.
Responsibilites
Training & Consultancy
- Conduct training sessions across all current software products, adapted to the needs and technical level of each client.
- Deliver implementation consultancy sessions, providing business process advice that helps clients embed the software effectively.
- Provide pre-sales support on an occasional basis, with a particular focus on the accounting functionality of our products.
Client Engagement
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, anticipating their needs and responding with patience and professionalism.
- Deliver services at our Clerkenwell offices, online, or at client sites across the UK and internationally (business expenses reimbursed).
- Protect Trace Solutions’ interests through clear, professional communication with clients and suppliers.
Standards & Operations
- Follow established team standards, procedures and controls, and play an active part in continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of time sheets and other operational requirements.
- Recognise and apply company policies and procedures consistently.
Skills
Business & Domain Knowledge
- Solid grounding in property and/or accounting, sufficient to hold credible conversations with any member of staff or client about relevant business issues.
- Understanding of double entry accounting and corporate accounting requirements.
- Familiarity with how TRAMPS, BlueBox or o6ix are applied in practice at client sites or the ability to develop this knowledge quickly.
- Ability to anticipate and understand what clients need, even when they’re not sure how to articulate it.
Personal
- Excellent oral and written communication skills clear, professional and confident with a wide range of audiences.
- Naturally helpful, patient and supportive, with a genuine customer-first mindset.
- Collaborative team player who can adapt to shifting priorities and work well under pressure.
- Highly organised, with strong planning and prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Takes initiative, shows drive, and brings sound judgement to problem-solving.
Technical
- Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Comfortable learning and staying current with evolving software products.
