Trace welcomes new Director
Some people leave and never look back. Martin Hughes left, looked back, and decided Trace was worth a second chapter.
Returning now as Director of Software Development, Martin brings a wealth of experience – over 20 years as a hands-on developer, and 14 more in charge of developers – plus a track record that spans financial services, civil engineering, logistics, HR tech, and (of course) Proptech.

What drives him, though, goes well beyond his impressive CV. He’s passionate about bridging the gap between technical teams and the business people they serve, helping people to find the tools, clarity, and confidence they need to do their best work. Power to the People indeed.
Martin is also a committed advocate for Agile principles. He believes in learning from mistakes, developing the next generation of technology leaders, and — crucially — delivering real, tangible value to clients through faster, simpler, better ways of working.
