Our Key Principles

1. Energy Efficiency:

We will strive to reduce energy consumption in our office spaces by implementing energy efficient technologies and practices. In doing so we will minimise our carbon footprint.

Achievements so far: energy efficient LED lighting is used throughout the office and is sensor-activated. Kettles have been removed and replaced with a single cup boiling water faucet. We were established users of video conferencing technology long before Covid, and much of our work takes place via this medium.

2. Waste Reduction:

We will minimise the generation of waste and promote recycling and responsible waste management.

Achievements so far: our office environment is paperless. All employees are encouraged to reduce landfill and actively recycle using the appropriate recycling bins provided. All personal bins have been removed.

3. Sustainable Procurement:

We will seek products and services that align with our commitment to sustainability and consider environmental impacts in all procurement decisions.

Achievements so far: energy efficient LED lighting is used throughout the office.

4. Transportation:

We support remote working arrangements by offering employees the opportunity to work 2 days in the office and three days at home.

Achievements so far: We encourage employees to choose ecofriendly commuting options, such as public transportation, Bike2Work or use of our electric vehicle discounted benefit.

5. Water Conservation:

We will reduce water consumption and prevent water wastage through investing in high-efficiency equipment.

Achievements so far: Installation of low-flow faucets. Employees are encouraged to recycle and reuse water whenever possible.

6. Community Engagement:

We actively engage with local communities, participating in or supporting environmental initiatives that benefit the city.

Achievements so far: We adhere to all relevant local and state environmental laws and regulations.

7. Carbon neutrality:

We are publicly committed to achieving net zero in line with national guidelines.
