Wanted: Technical Analyst

We’re currently recruiting for a Technical Analyst to join the team at Trace Solutions.

Working for a dynamic software house with a well-known presence in property management solutions, the successful candidate will be responsible for installations and support of bespoke software packages, deliver 3rd line support of our software packages, underlying operating systems, and dependant 3rd party software and tools to customers, as well as provide a degree of in-house technical support to staff. A challenging and exciting job opportunity, this role provides an opportunity to experience a diverse array of technologies contributing to the development of your professional skills. The Technical Analyst role plays an integral part in maintaining and improving technical systems, supporting users and building strong relationships with our customers, all of which contribute to the overall success of the Company.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical systems and applications.
  • Provide timely and effective troubleshooting for technical issues.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and workflows.
  • Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

Required Technical Skills
  • At least 2-3 years technical support experience, ideally in customer focused roles.
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Windows Desktop.
  • Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of Windows domains and active directory.
  • Basic understanding of networking and associated technologies.
  • Microsoft SQL Server experience desirable.
  • Citrix XenApp experience desirable.
Required Personal Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Displays effort and application in achieving results, with a high level of initiative and productivity.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet agreed deadlines.
Schedule
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime.
  • London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
  • Hybrid remote in London (2 days in the office, 3 days working from home).
Experience

IT support: 2 years (required)
