Trace awarded ‘best place to work’ – again

Trace Solutions awarded Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026

Trace Solutions has been named in The Sunday Times “Best Places to Work 2026” list, in the category of medium sized organisation. This is the second successive occasion the company has won this prestigious award.

What makes this recognition so special is how it is earned. The results are based entirely on direct, anonymous employee feedback – measured across things like reward and recognition, pride, empowerment, wellbeing and job satisfaction.

In other words, this award is a genuine reflection of how staff feel about working at Trace, and about the people-first culture we are building together every single day.

Business Editor of the Sunday Times, Jim Armitage, said: “Happy staff make for happy customers and strong, long-lived businesses. A contented workforce is [also] less likely to leave, creating a recruitment headache in these days of painful skills shortages”.

Lord Mark Price, former Managing Director of Waitrose and Deputy Chairman of the John Lewis Partnership, commented: “There is a clear correlation between companies that have happy and engaged workforces and those that get extra from their people. These companies have lower staff turnover and lower sick absence.”

“Companies with higher scores have higher commercial performance, greater productivity and greater profitability.”

The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards use 26 questions from WorkL’s employee engagement survey, developed by behavioural scientists, data analysts, psychologists, business leaders, academics and other independent parties to most accurately monitor employee engagement, wellbeing and discretionary effort in the workplace.
