Mojo Gets a Makeover: Fresh Look, Smarter Workflows

Mojo Makeover

Our latest release, 7.10.0, brings the most visible change we’ve made in years: a complete visual refresh for Mojo that modernises the entire system.

But this isn’t just a cosmetic update. We’ve also simplified how workgroups function, made collaboration easier, and added practical features that remove everyday frustrations.

A Brighter, Clearer Interface

Open Mojo and you’ll immediately notice the difference. We’ve applied a modern design throughout the entire application: updated login screens, toolbars, menus, icons, colours, fonts, and backgrounds. The result is a system that’s visually appealing but also, more importantly, is clearer to read and easier to navigate.

If you’ve been using Mojo for years, this fresh look brings the interface up to date with modern software standards. If you’re newer to the system, you’ll find it more intuitive from day one.

Workgroups That Just Work

We’ve also reimagined how workgroups access Mojo Forms. The change is significant: you no longer need to manually assign forms to workgroups before working on them.

The system now automatically manages form access based on the information you enter, making collaboration seamless across workgroups linked to the same clients or properties.

It’s one of those changes where you won’t necessarily notice what’s happening behind the scenes – you’ll just find that things work more smoothly. Property-based workgroup functionality has also been extended to Mojo Works, giving you the same intelligent access management across more of the system.

Making Tax Digital Compliance

In line with HMRC requirements, we’ve updated the MTD Online Submission window with Terms & Conditions for Making Tax Digital VAT Submissions, accessible via a blue hyperlink in the bottom right corner. It’s a small change but keeps you compliant with the latest regulatory requirements without adding complexity to your submission process.

More Control Over Your View

New dashboard options let you choose whether to include non-current properties, affecting which properties and records appear on entity lister pages and the count shown on overview widgets.
Settings can be configured at both system and user preference levels, so everyone can tailor their view to how they work.

You can also now manage Lease Notes directly through the Tenancy Schedule Widget (with appropriate security rights), removing the need to navigate to separate maintenance screens if you only want to add or update notes.

And there’s more

Beyond the headline changes, this release includes enhanced Management Fee invoicing with a new template system, expanded Screen Designer support with User Defined Fields for supplier forms and review sections on lease forms, plus a new Additional Information widget on the Supplier dashboard for custom field visibility.

In total, this release includes more than 40 significant improvements and bug fixes — all detailed in the Release Notes on our Support Site (NB: requires login. Please contact your account manager if you can’t access the site).

As always, the release is provided free of charge to all our clients. Upgrade is easy, retaining all your customisations throughout the process.

Software release 7.10.00 is available now.
